Design a Simple 8-Bit ALU

Introduction

The objective of this lab is to build a 8-bit ALU in Electric VLSI.

Discussion
Constructing the ALU schematic was not difficult but construcing the layout for the ALU was difficult. Especially when NCC didn't pass. This gave me insight on how these logic gates are created and how difficult it is to make them small. I couldn't imagine laying out a chip with thousands of transistors all fitting in a single dice.
