1. The Robot Car Line Follower

2. Students were tasked with constucting a Robot Car that follows a black line by emitting and recieving infrared light. The car was built according to circut schematics that will later be transfered to a printed circut board.

Bread board

2x DC motors

2x Infrared emitter

2x Infrared reciever

10kOhm potentiometer

Battery pack

2x 100 ohm resistors

2x 10k ohm resistors

Motor driver chip 16-pin PDIP

2x 741 op-amp comparitor

Jumper wires

Soldering kit

5. Discussion
The construction of the robot car tested student's skill of following schematics, soldering, and trouble shooting. For this car the trouble shooting consited of testing voltages at different points in the circut as well as positioning of the photo resistors. A problem encountered was the amp limiter on the powersource affecting voltage.
