1. Lab equipment and
editing your webpage for your lab report
2.The purpose of this lab was
to introduce the equipment that will be used in subsequent labs by
running tests on a breadboard.
3. Materials and Methods:
The power supply was connected to a breadboard. The outputed voltage
from the power supply was then tested with a mulitmeter to confirm the
values. Next two 1kohm resistors were added onto the breadboard. The
circut was then broken and the multimeter was used to measure the
current by connecting to the broken ends. Finally, the ocscilloscope
was connected to the function generator and the voltage was measured
from the highest point to the lowest on the sine function.
4. Results:

Figure 1: 5V delivered by the power supply.

Figure 2: 5.2V delivered by the power supply.

Figure 3: 5V reading from the breadboard by the multimeter

Figure 4: 2.1 mA current reading from the breadboard

Figure 5: 5V point to point oscilloscope reading from the function
generator.
5. Discussion
The expected current reading
in figure 4 was calculated to be 2.5 mA, the reading of 2.1 mA. This
error maybe due fluctuations at the time of the picture or user error
connecting the terminals. This lab was usefull for introducing
the differnet uses of each device as well as hands on experince with
them.
The language in your report should be complete sentences. All the
context should be in a story and readable.
