Equipment Familiarization and Editing HTML File

Introduction
In this lab we became
familiar with the equipment such as: DC power supply (Fig 1), multimeter (Fig 2), the function generator (Fig 3) and the oscilloscope (Fig 4), these are some of the main instruments that we used to take measurements. Voltage, current and resistance to be exact. Also, we learned how to edit our html file and how to upload it to a website using KompoZer and Filezilla.

Materials used in this occasion were:
Triple Channel DC Power Supply
Digit Multimeter
Arbitrary Function Generator
Mixed Signal Oscilloscope
Bread Board
Connections or All the Equipment
Resistors

Procedures and Results
In the first task, we used the DC power supply to put 5 v on a breadboard as showing in Fig 5 and Fig 6. And then,
we change the voltage to 5.2 to get familiar on how to operate the controls on Fig 7.

Fig 6. The screen shows an input of 5 volts.

Fig 7 The screen shows an input of 5.2 volts

In the second task, we built the a circuit showing on Fig 8, and put 5 volts to it. and we measured the current on the circuit by breaking the circuit between the resistors due to the current does not change. We can see the results on Fig 9.

Fig 8 Circuit with Vin = 5 and 2 resistors connected in series.

Fig 9 This multimeter shows that the current on the circuit is 2.4  mA.

Fig 10 This shows how the current reading byb breaking the circuit between the resistors.
Note: The current can be mesurred anywhere in the system.

In the third task, using the oscilloscope, we found the amplitude, the frequency and the type of the signal by generating a 5 Vp-p with 1K Hz sine wave. The results are showed in Fig 11.

Conclusion
In this lab we learned how to connect equipment properly, how to use it, and how to interpreted the results. we also learned how to edit a html file and how to upload it to a website using KompoZer and Filezilla. Now we know that the current in series doesn't changed. And we are ready to do more Labs.
